About
Evangelist Hunter & Pastor Ellen

Jesus Is The Same Gospel Outreach is a Lesotho-based ministry led by Evangelist Hunter Matlanyane and his wife Pastor Ellen. Together they carry a single, undivided calling: to preach Christ crucified, risen and reigning, and to see the power of God touch every person who hears.
What began as a burden for the lost has grown into a ministry that reaches schools, fills crusade grounds, and gathers communities in towns and villages across Southern Africa.
Their conviction is simple — the Jesus of Acts is the Jesus of today. He still saves, still heals, still delivers, still fills people with His Spirit. Hebrews 13:8 is not only the ministry's name; it is its message.
Our Mission
To preach the unchanging Gospel of Jesus Christ to every generation in every place we are sent.
Our Vision
Revival in Lesotho and the nations — souls saved, bodies healed, lives discipled, churches strengthened.
Our Values
Scripture, the Holy Spirit, integrity, partnership with the local church, and love for the lost.
Profile
Evangelist Hunter Matlanyane
Basotho minister, preacher, church planter, and evangelist — reaching Lesotho and beyond with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Evangelist Hunter Matlanyane is a dedicated Basotho minister, preacher, church planter, and evangelist whose passion is reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Lesotho and beyond.
Born on 8 October 1981 at Scotts Hospital in Morija, Lesotho, he grew up in Ha Mabote, Maseru. He attended Lesedi Community Centre for his primary education before proceeding to Lesotho High School, where he experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ and was born again on 17 February 1997.
Following the completion of his High School education, and before pursuing tertiary studies, Evangelist Matlanyane received a special call from God into full-time ministry in 2001. He was subsequently mentored and spiritually groomed by Bishop Michael Taelo Kolisang (Reinhard Bonnke's first disciple), under whose leadership he faithfully served and developed in Evangelism Ministry for two decades. In 2021, after years of preparation and service, he was released to pursue the evangelistic mandate independently.
The same year, he founded Jesus Is The Same Gospel Outreach, an evangelistic movement dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel through crusades, missions, discipleship, and community outreach. In 2022, this vision gave birth to Divine Reconciliation Church, where lives continue to be transformed through the preaching of God's Word, prayer, healing, and discipleship.
Evangelist Matlanyane is married to his beloved wife, Pastor Malerato Ellen Matlanyane, who also serves faithfully in ministry alongside him. Together they are blessed with three children: Love, Faith, and Hope.
Throughout his ministry journey, Evangelist Matlanyane has conducted numerous crusades, revival meetings, school missions, and community outreaches across Lesotho. His ministry has contributed to the planting and strengthening of churches in various districts, including Mokhotlong, Butha-Buthe, Maseru, Mafeteng and Thaba-Tseka.
Known for his dynamic evangelistic approach, he regularly conducts open-air crusades, tent meetings, youth conferences, school outreaches, village missions, and revival gatherings throughout the Mountain Kingdom as well as beyond Lesotho's borders. His ministry places special emphasis on soul-winning, discipleship, healing, deliverance, and community transformation through the Gospel.
Ministry partnerships
Over the years, Evangelist Matlanyane has collaborated with several local and international evangelistic organisations, including:
- GO Movement

Current partnership — Light of Life International
He currently works in collaboration with Light of Life International of Evangelist Stephen Evans (USA), organising and participating in large-scale evangelistic crusades that attract thousands of attendees. Mega Crusades have so far been held in Mokhotlong and Qacha's Nek, with Butha-Buthe set for March 2027. Through these gatherings many have come to faith in Christ, experienced healing, received deliverance, and found renewed hope in God.
Today, Evangelist Hunter Matlanyane continues to serve as a passionate preacher of the Gospel — equipping believers, strengthening churches, mentoring emerging leaders, and advancing the Kingdom of God throughout Lesotho and beyond. His ministry remains committed to the biblical truth that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
